Discover self-care through an Ayurvedic lens – learn about your unique doshas, how they relate to the seasons, and how best to care for yourself in the seasonal transition ahead. Kateland and Kenzie will share daily AM and PM routines ideal for each dosha, as well as hygiene and self-care practices to help prevent sickness and create harmony in the body. Kateland will also demonstrate Abhyanga, or Ayurvedic self-massage with warm oil. Abhyanga is an effective way to reduce stress levels, improve sleep quality, and generally enhance quality of life. Massage oil will be provided so students can participate in Abhyanga on themselves – be sure to dress in loose clothing that’s safe to get a little oily, and get ready to feel balanced and nourished.
